Solar Network International (SNI) is
a registered non-profit, based in Toronto, Ontario.
Solar Network International - Mission & Motto
Our mission is “to advance business development for all stakeholders in the solar industry.
We began by
building the business "community" in North America's fastest-growing
region - Ontario, Canada. Our track record of rising to the needs of
Ontario’s quick moving solar market is now well-established. Thousands of stakeholders have benefited from over 20 events organized by Ontario Solar Network since the launch of FIT program in Ontario, Canada in 2009. In the past two years, Solar Network International has been the leading convener of PV industry events in Ontario, including three sold-out Summits held in 2011.
For 2012, SNI's new affiliate, SSX Events, is hosting three major international Solar Summits & eXpos! (SSX) for key emerging solar PV markets: Ontario-Canada; New England-USA; and the Caribbean Islands. SSX Events are focused on helping your company make Local Connections and expand toward Global Results.
Each Solar Summit & eXpo brings
together local leaders, providing a unique opportunity for stakeholders
to gain regional solar market insight and build business relationships.
The regional market takes centre stage. But the events are also
designed to bring the international markets to the region, giving
local companies access to the global marketplace, and introducing
non-local executives to the region's market and its leaders. SNI's Solar Summits & eXpos are designed to advance your business!
Solar Academy International Our affiliate, Solar Academy International, is
now established as Canada’s premier solar training school (Ontario
Solar Academy), with over 450 graduates. Solar Academy will soon be

Solar Alliance of Ontario While not a lobby group, Ontario Solar Network is proud to be a Founding Member of Solar Alliance of Ontario, a
new advocacy organization founded in August 2011 to lobby for a strong
and sustainable solar market in Ontario, ensuring the province's place
as a global leader in Solar PV.
